Our Story

Hi! We’re Allie and Ian — a dedicated cat-loving team behind our mobile cat grooming service, and proud parents to our daughter, Heidi.

Allie grew up in Kazakhstan in a family that loved animals. After earning a finance degree, she realized the office life wasn’t for her and followed her passion for working hands-on with pets. That leap brought her to New York, where she began her grooming career in 2012. Over the years, she worked throughout NYC and eventually transitioned to full-time in-home grooming — a decision that shaped her belief that cats do best one-on-one, in the comfort of their own space. Her love for felines deepened even further after welcoming two beloved cats of her own, inspiring her to focus exclusively on cats. In 2022, Allie became a Certified Feline Master Groomer through the National Cat Groomers Institute, a distinction she’s incredibly proud of.

Ian was born and raised in upstate New York and has loved animals for as long as he can remember — from farm animals to reptiles, and everything in between. Before grooming, he built a successful career in corporate management, but life took a turn when he met Allie and discovered the world of cat grooming. In 2024, they left New York together and moved to sunny Florida to build a life — and business — centered around their shared love for animals and family. Ian has been grooming cats since summer 2024 and is currently studying to become a Certified Feline Master Groomer himself.

Today, we proudly provide gentle, professional mobile cat grooming throughout Lee and Collier Counties. Every cat we work with is treated with patience, respect, and genuine care — because to us, they’re not just clients, they’re family.

Why the title of a
Certified Feline

Master Groomer
Matters

Cats are not small dogs — they are unique, complex, and highly sensitive animals. Grooming them safely and humanely requires specialized knowledge, advanced hands-on training, and a deep understanding of feline behavior. That’s what makes a Certified Feline Master Groomer (CFMG) so special.

Certification through the National Cat Groomers Institute (NCGI) is the highest level of education available in feline grooming. It involves extensive study, multiple written and practical exams, and strict evaluation standards focused entirely on cats. A CFMG is trained in feline anatomy, coat and skin health, stress reduction, proper handling, and safe grooming techniques for cats of all temperaments — from relaxed kittens to seniors and special-needs cats.

Choosing a Certified Feline Master Groomer means choosing expertise, compassion, and peace of mind. Your cat is in experienced, educated hands — and treated with the respect and care they deserve.

OUR CAT VAN

Our Cat Van is truly one of a kind — fully electric, lithium battery operated, temperature controlled, quiet, and eco-friendly. No propane, no generators, no idling! Fully insulated against Florida’s heat, it runs a 20,000 BTU air conditioner and dehumidifier, keeping your kitty cool and comfortable during every groom.

Inside, the van is built exclusively for cats. It features a custom stainless steel cat tub, a cat exclusive grooming table, and a Catty Shack Vac, a gentle system that collects loose fur as we groom. This keeps grooming calm, reduces stress, and helps prevent shedding and hairballs.

We also use only the best cat products on the market, from trusted brands like Les Poochs, Chris Christensen, Groomers Goop, PreStep Farber, and Chubbs Bars, ensuring your cat’s coat and skin get top-quality care.

We leave no trace behind — our van holds a 65-gallon fresh water tank and a 45-gallon grey water tank, ensuring a clean, mess-free experience every time.
Sanitation is a top priority: all tools and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between cats, and floors and walls are disinfected daily using trusted products like Rescue, Odoban, 256 disinfectant, and 70% alcohol.

With our Cat Van, your feline friend enjoys a safe, calm, and luxurious grooming experience from start to finish.

FAQ
Why cats need
professional
grooming

Many people assume that cats groom themselves, but this is a common misconception. While cats do lick their fur, they cannot comb out tangles, remove mats, bathe, or thoroughly clean themselves. Over time, their coats can become greasy, dirty, smelly, and matted—just like any other pet’s. That’s where professional cat groomers come in.

Regular grooming is essential for a domestic cat’s health and comfort. Cats have skin and fur that need care—neglecting it is like going years without a shower. Grooming helps keep your cat clean, comfortable, and looking their best.

Cats may not enjoy water, but the majority of dogs are bathed and groomed regularly, and cats deserve the same attention. Our team is trained to handle most types of cats—shy, compliant, or mildly aggressive—while ensuring a calm, low-stress experience. The exception is highly aggressive felines which we recommend to get groomed under sedation at the veterinary office to ensure their safety and well-being.

With professional grooming, your cat can stay healthy, comfortable, and truly happy.
